SEKA KIBONDO: Empowering Early Childhood Education in Rwanda

Join Others Rwanda (JOR) is proud to introduce the SEKA KIBONDO project, an initiative dedicated to fostering early childhood development. Launched in October 2021, our Early Childhood Center in the Muhima Sector provides a nurturing environment where children under six years old can learn, play, rest, and develop a sense of discipline, love, and cultural appreciation.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." – Nelson Mandela .

Our Mission and Activities

At SEKA KIBONDO, we believe in a holistic approach to early childhood education. Our program includes:

Language Learning: We offer classes in French, English, and Kinyarwanda, ensuring that children gain a strong linguistic foundation from an early age.

Nutritional Support: Recognizing the issue of stunting faced by some families, we provide nutritious meals at the school. Teachers also eat with the children, modeling good table manners and teaching them how to feed themselves and chew properly.

Cultural and Social Development: Through various activities, children are taught important cultural values and social skills that will help them grow into well-rounded individuals. .

Supporting Vulnerable Families

Children from vulnerable families receive additional support through coaching sessions aimed at improving their school performance. These sessions, combined with the nutritious meals provided at our premises, ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Call for Partnerships

We are always looking to expand our impact and welcome partnerships with organizations in the fields of education, health, school feeding, and psychology. By working together, we can create a brighter future for the children of Rwanda. For more information or to discuss potential partnerships, please contact us
